Lucas (Luke) is a Founder of Grace Pressed Coffee. He met his wife, Monica, while they were co-leading a small group at their local church. During his graduate studies, Luke was introduced to the concept of Business as Mission and Ministry—using business as a platform to glorify God, serve others, and strengthen the body of Christ. With Monica's deep passion for medical missionary service and her dream of owning a coffee company, these callings became Grace Pressed Coffee.
Luke's mission for Grace Pressed Coffee is to glorify God by supporting Christian medical missions through exceptional coffee. He believes every purchase can make an impact by helping Christian medical missionaries and mission organizations provide compassionate healthcare while sharing the hope of the Gospel.
Luke's background in business and biblical studies has shaped his commitment to faithful stewardship, servant leadership, and excellence. Before founding Grace Pressed Coffee, he attained a Bachelor of Biblical Studies and a Master of Business Administration. He continues his seminary education, and his research has been published in academic journals.
As a Founder, Luke oversees the company's vision, strategy, branding, and day-to-day operations. He is passionate about serving customers with premium coffee while supporting those who faithfully care for physical needs and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ around the world.
Luke's prayer is that every purchase would strengthen Christian medical missions, demonstrate the love of Christ, and remind people that even something as ordinary as a cup of coffee can be used for God's glory.
